Our Story

Our official bio goes something like this: Citizens Bank is a full service community bank with 11 convenient offices located throughout Waukesha and Walworth counties in Wisconsin. We began our long history of helping people and businesses achieve their financial goals in 1892 as Citizens Bank of Mukwonago. In November 2014, we shortened our name to Citizens Bank to better reflect all of the communities we serve.

 

But here's the real story about us. We've been around awhile but that doesn't mean we're set in our old ways. In fact, just the opposite is true. In the last few years alone, we've made significant investments to improve our customers' experiences, through projects to update our branch offices and upgrade our technology. We are constantly looking at how we do business in search of a better way to do business. That means making sure our employees have all the tools they need to bring the best customer service to the table every time. It also means making decisions that benefit local people and businesses.

 

We understand there are a lot of options for those looking for financial services. That's why we place top value on the customer relationships we earn, and why we will always strive to be a good corporate citizen in each of our communities.
