Make Plans to Attend Local Dog Rescue Fair

Annual family friendly event returns to Mukwonago’s Field Park on April 26

March 10, 2025 – Citizens Bank has announced the date for the 2025 Ca$h the Dog Rescue Fair. Everyone is invited to attend the event at Field Park in Mukwonago on Saturday, April 26, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. There is no charge for admission.

Returning for its fifth year, the rescue fair has grown to include 12 local rescues, 11 vendors, and 7 dog-related community or service groups. Rescues are encouraged to bring available dogs and puppies to meet potential adopters. Representatives from each rescue will be on hand to share information on other pets in their care and their adoption or placement processes.

Several demonstrations are planned including an obedience demonstration by the German Shepherd Dog Club of Wisconsin. Presentations scheduled throughout the event will cover many topics including canine physical therapy and supplying protective vests to K9 officers.

Event details are available on the Citizens Bank website: Cash Rescue Fair
In 2021, Citizens Bank hosted its first rescue fair to further its support of local animal welfare initiatives. The event is named after Ca$h, the Golden Retriever mascot of its children's savings program. The purpose of the event is to raise awareness of local rescues and help connect dogs with people who can provide permanent homes.
